Dice and Balls has just had a very busy weekend!
Splendour Festival
Saturday was wet, very wet. The rain didn’t stop all day. Did we let that dampen our spirits? No Way! We spent the afternoon helping to entertain the children in the Kid’s Area organized by Nottingham Baby and Toddler Events.
Despite the rain, the children had great fun learning new circus skills and showing us their tricks to a backdrop of awesome music provided by The Sugarbabes, The Kooks, Girlband and many more. Of course, when the Kid’s section closed for the day, we just had to stay to see Madness!
Heya in Nottingham
On Sunday, we were indoors (phew!) for the Heya in Nottingham Hope away from home event in Beeston, Nottingham. Initially, they just wanted a balloon modeller but, when we heard what the event was for, we rolled-up with a full Circus Skills Workshop too.
Once again, we had a wonderful time! Lots of laughter, balloon sword fights, plate spinning, Kubb, and so much more. They even gave us some gorgeous food.
A long and tiring weekend, but we came away with so happy and with so many great memories. This really is the best job in the world 😊
